RGSQ Environmental Fund
The Society operates the “RGSQ Environmental Fund” for the specific purpose of supporting the dissemination of information, provision of education, and conduct of research. In the past, donations received by the Society have been used to support scientific expeditions and research in different environments of Queensland and Australia. Since 2023, this Fund has supported students’ research through the Student Research Grant scheme. For outcomes of the awardees’ research, refer to the linked page. We look forward to expanding our support to more environmental research projects (e.g. new expeditions, citizen science projects that involve more members) with more donations.
