Conveniently located in Spring Hill (just 4km from Brisbane city), the Royal Geographical Society of Queensland has two spaces available for casual or long-term hire: 1) a lecture/meeting area for large meetings & presentations, and 2) a boardroom.

Large Meeting Room for Hire 

Sitting Capacity: 50 people

Location: Gregory Place, Level 1, 28 Fortescue Street Spring Hill, Qld, 4000

Parking: street parking and many options for public transport available. 

There is adequate seating and the space is wheelchairs accessible (lift to Level 1).

Facilities include:

• Access to a kitchenette with
• Crockery - cups, saucers, plates, spoons, knives, forks, wine and water/juice glasses
• Dishwasher
• Microwave
• Refrigerator
• BYO or external food catering
• Private toilets (including with wheelchair access)
• Audio system - roving and lapel microphone available 
• Video projector
• White board
• Internet access
• No alcohol permitted

Fees* Meeting/Lecture Room Hire: $115.00 incl GST per 1-4 hours; $220.00 incl GST per 8 hours

Boardroom for Hire 

Sitting Capacity: 12 persons

Location: as above

Facilities: as above, including projecting capabilities

Fees* Boardroom Hire:  $60.00 incl GST per 1-4 hours; $115.00 incl GST per 8 hours

A cleaning fee may be imposed if extra cleaning is required after the meeting room or boardroom hire.

The spaces are generally available Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 18:00; weekend hire can be arranged.
