Join RGSQ in celebrating the International Day of the Forest with a guided tour of Kawaratha Forest Park and Discovery Centre.
Organised by Brisbane City Council, join a volunteer guide as they share their knowledge of local flora and fauna along one of the many tracks in Karawatha Forest. Walks are taken at a gentle pace.
Location: Karawatha Forest Park and Discovery Centre, 149 Acacia Road, Karawatha
Date: Saturday 21st March
Time: 9:30am - 10:30am
Please arrive 5 minutes early at Karawatha Forest Discovery Centre reception for participant sign-on.
Please wear a wide-brimmed hat, secure and fully enclosed walking shoes, sun-smart clothing, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Note that walks are subject to weather and environmental conditions. Participants will be notified if the walk is cancelled.
Family friendly. All ages welcome, provided children are supervised by an adult. This is a non-ticketed event, however registration would be appreciated so that we may notify the park of an approximate head count.
