    The Royal Geographical Society of Queensland and the University of Queensland School of the Environment held a public forum on the Queensland housing crisis with a panel of expert speakers presenting some critical perspectives. This was followed by a lively discussion during the wrap up session with the 72 attendees.

    Presenters:

    1. Ms Julie Saunders from URBIS: Observations on the Queensland Government housing policy,

    2. Assoc. Prof. Elin Charles-Edwards (UQ-SENV) The demography of the housing crisis,

    3. Mr Murray Benton (Q Shelter) Community Housing Futures Program Queensland, and

    4. Ms Rachel Gallagher (UQ-SENV) Character contradiction: how Brisbane planning excludes low income households from desirable suburbs.
